The Firenze 410ml plastic whisky glasses in two lines
The Firenze DOF 410ml is a double old fashioned in SAN, its wall worked like cut crystal: fans and diamonds on the lower half. It is sold in packs of six. Goldplast declares it unbreakable and washable up to 100 times in the dishwasher.
The glass is 12cm tall, with an 8.5cm rim and a 7.5cm base. It weighs 91.3g.
Who it is for
For hotels and venues that serve outdoors but do not want the guest to notice: the terrace with a view, the hotel pool side, the beach lounge. That is where smooth clear plastic jars with the rest of the table setting, and where glass is banned or costs too much in breakages.
For caterers at weddings and corporate events, who lay tables with glasses that are held for hours. With the Firenze the table stays neat and there are no broken pieces.

Why they look like crystal
The Firenze range takes the cut of crystal tumblers: fans and diamonds up to half height, with a thick, solid base. With ice and an amber spirit the facets refract the light, and up close the glass reads as worked glass.
At 91g a piece it is also heavy, more than an ordinary plastic tumbler: in the hand it feels like the real thing.
SAN
SAN is the material of clear, rigid plastic glasses. For the Firenze range Goldplast declares up to 100 cycles in the dishwasher, from -10 to +100°C, fridge safe. It does not go in the microwave or the oven.
Goldplast declares the glass compliant with the European regulations on materials in contact with food (Regulation (EU) 1935/2004 and 10/2011), suitable for all food types and for repeated use.

410ml
410ml is the brim-full capacity. It is the size of the double old fashioned: an Old Fashioned or a Negroni over a large cube, a short spritz with ice, a soft drink with fruit. The glass stays wide and low, and the drink is served without a straw.
The pack of six
The glasses are counted in packs: four are 24 glasses, the kit for a terrace of six tables. Each glass comes in its own bag, six bags to a carton: the carton is the pack you buy. A reorder is the same item with the same code.
The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 packs -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item. The discount applies automatically in the basket.
Care
In the dishwasher, as the maker indicates. No microwave and no oven. By hand, a soft sponge keeps the wall clear.
