The Firenze plastic cocktail glasses in two lines
The Firenze Highball is a tall 600ml glass in SAN, its wall worked like cut crystal: fans and diamonds on the lower half. It is sold in packs of six. Goldplast declares it unbreakable and washable up to 100 times in the dishwasher.
The glass is 16cm tall, with an 8.5cm rim and a 7.3cm base. It weighs 123.6g.
Who plastic cocktail glasses are for
For venues that serve large long drinks and tiki cocktails outdoors: the Mai Tai on the beach, the Long Island by the pool, sangria poured from a jug at the table. These are the drinks with the most ice and the most fruit, the ones that need the largest glass and that, when the venue is full, travel most between the bar and the tables.
For caterers and summer events, where the 600ml glass is also used for water and soft drinks served with ice.
At home they are the cocktail glasses for garden parties, with children running round the tables.
The largest glass in the Firenze range
The Firenze Highball carries the cut of the range onto a glass 16cm tall. The 8.5cm rim takes cubed ice, fruit slices and mint without pushing, and leaves room for the bar spoon to stir the drink in the glass.
At 123g it is a heavy glass for plastic: full of ice it stays put on the table and does not flex when squeezed.
SAN
SAN is the material of clear plastic cocktail glasses. For the Firenze range Goldplast declares up to 100 cycles in the dishwasher, from -10 to +100°C, fridge safe. It does not go in the microwave or the oven.
Goldplast declares the glass compliant with the European regulations on materials in contact with food (Regulation (EU) 1935/2004 and 10/2011), suitable for all food types and for repeated use.

600ml
600ml is the brim-full capacity. A Long Island with 250ml of liquid and the glass full of ice fits with three fingers of room, a Mai Tai with crushed ice and a mint garnish does not spill over, a 400ml beer with its head stays below the rim.
The pack of six
The glasses are counted in packs: four are 24 glasses. Each glass comes in its own bag, six bags to a carton: the carton is the pack you buy. A reorder is the same item with the same code.
The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 packs -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item. The discount applies automatically in the basket.
Care
In the dishwasher, as the maker indicates. No microwave and no oven. By hand, a soft bottle brush reaches the bottom and keeps the wall clear.
