The Essenza reusable wine glasses in two lines
The Essenza is a 125ml stemmed glass in clear Tritan, with a straight-sided bowl and a rounded bottom. It is sold in packs of six. Goldplast declares it unbreakable and washable up to 350 times in the dishwasher.
The glass is 15.4cm tall, with a 4.65cm rim and a 6cm foot. It weighs 43.4g.
Who reusable wine glasses are for
For anyone running tastings outside the dining room: the winery pouring in the vineyard, the wine shop at a market, the trade fair, the corporate event with a wine table. These are the places where many small samples are served in a short time and where a glass that falls stops the tasting.
For venues that serve a sparkling opener, a vermouth or an amaro in a small stemmed glass, at an outdoor table or on the beach. With the Essenza the glass is washed and goes back into service, instead of ending up in the bin like a single use one.
At home they are the glasses for the aperitivo in the garden.
A straight bowl
The Essenza bowl has straight sides and a rounded bottom, like a cylinder on a stem: the shape holds the bubbles and carries the aromas straight to the nose. The short stem and the 6cm foot make a steady glass that sits on the tasting table without wobbling.
125ml brim-full is the size of a tasting: 50 or 60ml of wine fits with room to swirl.
Tritan
Tritan is the material for reusable plastic glasses that have to look like glass. Goldplast declares it BPA free, washable up to 350 times in the dishwasher, from -20 to +100°C, fridge safe. It does not go in the microwave or the oven.
Goldplast declares the glass compliant with the European regulations on materials in contact with food (Regulation (EU) 1935/2004 and 10/2011), suitable for all food types and for repeated use.

Reusable instead of single use
A single use plastic glass is thrown away after one tasting. The Essenza takes 350 washes: for a winery that runs twenty tastings a year that is many seasons of service with the same glass, and fewer bin bags at the end of the event.
The pack of six
The glasses are counted in packs: four are 24 glasses, a tasting table for a group. Each glass comes in its own bag, six bags to a carton. A reorder is the same item with the same code.
The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 packs -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item. The discount applies automatically in the basket.
Care
In the dishwasher, as the maker indicates. No microwave and no oven. By hand, a soft bottle brush reaches the bottom of the bowl.

How many washes do they take? Up to 350 in the dishwasher, according to the maker.
Do they break if dropped? The maker declares them unbreakable: dropped, they do not shatter.
