The round jigger tray in two lines
The jigger tray is a round dish in stainless steel where jiggers, bar spoon and strainer rest during service. The Bars makes it in three finishes: black at 140mm diameter, Vintage and Tiffany at 145mm. It is the same tray found in its 12 piece sets, one per finish.
Who the jigger tray is for
For anyone who has a jigger in hand for every drink and puts it down dozens of times a shift. Without a fixed place the jigger ends up on the wet bar top, next to the ice well, in the syrup drips. It picks up whatever it finds, and carries it into the shaker with the next drink. On a sloping or wet surface the jigger rolls, and whoever reaches for it takes their eyes off the glass.
At home the tray does a different job: it keeps the kit in order on the bar cart, and an evening with friends leaves no syrup rings on the wood.

Why a jigger tray changes the station
A station works when every piece has its place, always the same one. The bartender reaches out without looking and finds the jigger where it was left. The jigger tray makes that place visible to whoever comes on shift next: the jigger does not sit on the bar top, it sits on the tray. The drips stay in the dish, which is emptied and rinsed at the end of service, and the bar top stays dry.
The manufacturer does not declare the height of the rim or the weight. It declares the diameter, which changes with the finish: 140mm for black, 145mm for Vintage and Tiffany.

Choose the jigger tray if
Your jigger lives on the wet bar top today. If you want a station with matching pieces, take it in the same finish as the jigger: the Tiffany Japanese style cocktail jigger sits on the Tiffany tray as it does in the set. If you are starting from scratch, the tray is in the 12 piece matt black cocktail set, the Vintage cocktail making kit and the Tiffany bartender set.
The jigger tray behind the bar
Position matters more than the object. The tray goes where the hand reaches without crossing the arm: for a right-hander, to the right of the shaker, between the bar top and the speed rail. It holds a jigger, or two jiggers of different sizes, the bar spoon and the strainer, the pieces that change hands with every drink. When the bar is full the sequence does not change: measure, set down on the tray, shake, pick the strainer up from the same spot.
With several stations the finish becomes a code: a black tray on one line and a Tiffany one on the other, and the pieces coming back from washing go to the right place.
One jigger tray per station
The tray is one per station, and anyone fitting out a bar with several lines buys more than one. The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 pieces -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item.
Care
The manufacturer does not declare whether it is dishwasher safe: to be careful, wash it by hand with hot water and mild detergent, using a non-abrasive sponge on the coloured finishes. Empty and rinse it at the end of service, before the syrup dries, and dry it straight away.
