The Reflex LED table lamp in two lines
The Reflex LED table lamp is the smallest of our battery lamps: 8cm at the base, 19cm tall, with a clear polystyrene body. The LED is rechargeable and dimmable. At a touch the light moves between three tones: white, warm and yellow. Stated battery life is about 5 hours. It is sold singly, with the micro USB cable.
Who it is for
For venues that need a light on many tables and cannot give up the surface. Nineteen centimetres sits below the rim of a wine glass: the Reflex does not cut the eye line between two people sitting opposite each other and does not hide the centrepiece. On a small aperitif table, between the board and the glasses, it is the size that fits.
It suits venues that change set-up within the same day. The white tone for a working lunch, the warm for dinner, the yellow for late evening: the same lamp follows the service, and three sets of lights are not needed.
At home it is the light for drinks at the coffee table or for dinner for two. Touch it and the tone changes.
Three tones at a touch
The Reflex has no switch to hunt for: touch it and the light changes. White, warm, yellow. For a room it is one more setting than a dimmer gives: brightness says how much light, tone says what kind. A bar that does breakfast and aperitif on the same table uses white in the morning and warm from 6pm. The kelvin values of the three tones are not stated.
Dimmable
Brightness is adjustable as well as tone. Keep it low on the table by the window and raise it on the one at the back of the room. The server sets it while putting the glasses down.
Five hours: what they cover
About 5 hours of battery cover a long aperitif or a dinner, from 7pm to midnight. They do not cover a six-hour service to 1am and they do not cover two shifts. A venue open for lunch and dinner recharges in the afternoon. A venue that closes late lowers the brightness or keeps a few charged lamps in reserve for the second round. It is the sum to do before ordering, because an LED table lamp that goes out at 11.30pm on an occupied table is a service problem.
Indoors, not in the rain
The supplier does not state an IP protection rating for the Reflex. Without that figure the lamp is used indoors, or outdoors under cover and in dry weather. For tables exposed to rain there are the lamps with a stated IP54 rating.
Charging after service
The micro USB cable is in the box. At close the lamps come in with the table settings and are plugged into a multi-port charger in the back of house. Charging time is not stated.

Clean the polystyrene with a soft damp cloth. The body is clear and is seen against the light, and a soft cloth keeps it free of marks.
