Who it is for
For anyone who builds drinks on the mat rather than just standing glasses on it. The 20cm of depth are the difference: a shaker stands upright with the jigger and the bottle beside it, which on a 10cm strip is not possible.
Behind the bar
The 60 x 20 is the format that covers a whole working station. The liquid that runs over while pouring, what comes out when a Boston is cracked open, the drips off a jigger set down: it all ends up under the ribs instead of spreading across the bar top. The counter stays dry even after a full night.
The reinforced edge counts for more than it looks. This is the mat that gets lifted every day to rinse underneath, and the edge is where you take hold of it: on mats without reinforcement that is where the tears start, usually after a few months.

60 x 20 or 70 x 10
The 60 x 20 is deep and belongs where you build. The 70 x 10 is a long narrow strip, and it belongs along the front of the bar for the line of glasses. Well organised bars have both, in different places.
Care
Natural rubber takes high temperatures and goes through the dishwasher. Washed by hand it should be turned over and rinsed underneath too, because it is the underside where the collected liquid sits.
FAQ
How deep is this bar mat? Twenty centimetres, against the 10cm of a front strip: enough for a shaker, a jigger and a bottle together.
Is it dishwasher safe? Yes, natural rubber takes the cycle and the heat.
Which colours does it come in? Black and silver.
Why does the edge matter? Because that is where you lift it every day, and an unreinforced edge is where the tearing starts.
The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 pieces -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item.
