Deluxe pourer caps in two lines
These are deluxe pourer caps in black rubber: each one slides over the spout of a pourer fitted in a bottle and closes it. Pack of 12.
Who they are for
For bars that leave pourers in the bottles after service. That habit saves time, and it also leaves an open spout on the bar, where dust, splashes and insects pass all day.
Why longer than standard pour caps
Because protection depends on how much of the spout is covered. A short cap sits on the tip only and comes off with a knock, and it leaves the lower part of the spout open, where the last drops collect after a pour. The deluxe cap reaches further down, so it stays in place and also closes the area where the liquid settles.

The rule nobody writes down
Pourers come off and get washed every night, and that is not up for discussion. The cap covers the rest of the time: the break between two services, the afternoon with the bar closed, the bottles left on the speed rail while the floor is cleaned. Pulling every pourer out for those hours makes no sense, and leaving the spouts open makes even less.
What gets into an open bottle
Dust first, and on a bar that includes what drifts over from the kitchen. Then splashes from the next bottle, which fly at every quick pour. And insects, drawn by the sugary residue on the spout, the part nobody wipes between services. The cap covers exactly that point, which is why it is sold as a separate item.
Twelve, like the pourers
The pack is sized to match a box of pourers, so every bottle in service has its own cap and you are not covering eight out of twelve. They are small and they go missing, so starting with the right number avoids the usual station: half covered, half open.
Care
Soak them with the pourers in hot water, then dry them before putting them back on. A cap refitted wet holds moisture against the metal for hours. Use a mild detergent and wash by hand, as with every rubber item in the category.
FAQ
How many caps are in the pack? Twelve.
How do they differ from a standard pour cap? They are longer, so they cover the lower part of the spout too and stay in place.
Do they replace washing the pourers? No. Pourers still come off and get washed every night: the cap covers the hours when they stay in the bottle.
Are they dishwasher safe? No, soak them in hot water with the pourers.
Do they fit every pourer? They fit pourers with a standard spout. On a very thin or very wide spout, try one before ordering for the whole bar.
The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 packs -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item.
