The six compartment condiment holder in two lines
A steel condiment holder with a lid: 450mm long and 90mm high, six separate compartments on a profile that stays low.
Who it is for
For anyone keeping six garnishes ready and wanting them on the front of the bar. It is the combination hardest to find: plenty of capacity and no barrier.
Six compartments in 90mm of height
That is what separates this model from the plastic ones, which to fit the same number go nearly twice as tall. This holder grows along its length rather than upwards, so the guest looks straight over it and whoever is building still has six garnishes to hand. The price is that every compartment is narrow.

Six compartments pay off when the garnishes are small
Olives, cherries, twists, fruit cubes, cocktail onions: anything picked up with tongs or two fingers sits well in a narrow compartment. Thick slices and whole wheels do not, because they have to go in on edge and come out with two hands. For those, three wide compartments work better than six narrow ones, which is why the choice follows the type of garnish and not the number.
Kept apart, with no flavours crossing
That is the basic job of a condiment holder, and with six compartments it counts for more. Brined olives next to citrus twists cross over within the hour, and the more garnishes there are the more wrong combinations become possible. Each compartment holds its own liquid, and that is what makes six garnishes manageable rather than a risk.
Steel against the acids
Lime and lemon juice go over this container all day. On porous materials it sits and stains, on steel it runs off and wipes away in one pass. On a front of house position there is also the fact that steel reads as equipment, which is the right message in a venue where the bar is part of the service.
The lid on the front of the bar
It is there against dust and against cut surfaces drying out, but on the front of the bar it does something else too: it closes off access from the other side. An open container in front of a guest is an invitation to help themselves, and in many venues closing it between orders is a rule before it is a choice.
Four hundred and fifty millimetres of bar top
That is the space it takes off the counter, and on a short front it wants measuring first. This model grows along its length precisely to stay low, so it uses more bar top than a tall model with the same number of compartments: that is the trade you accept when you choose not to build a wall.
Six compartments and the temptation to fill them all
The temptation is to put something in every compartment because the space is there. A garnish that turns over slowly sits there all evening and ends up in the bin, and meanwhile it takes space that the fast movers needed. On a six compartment holder it pays to keep two empty rather than fill them for symmetry.
Care
Daily wash with the compartments out, not with a cloth run round the inside: with six compartments there are twelve corners, and sugary liquid stops in exactly those. No common steel wool on stainless, and dry fully before reassembling.
FAQ
How many compartments does it have? Six, with a lid.
How tall is it? Ninety millimetres, so it builds no wall on the front of the bar.
Which garnishes does it suit? The small ones: olives, cherries, twists, cubes.
And thick slices? Three wide compartments are better: in a narrow one slices have to go in on edge.
Why steel? Because it takes citrus acids and wipes clean in one pass.
How long is it? Four hundred and fifty millimetres, by 150 wide.
The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 pieces -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item.
