Matt black on the bar

A 900ml shaker full of ice and liquid goes past a kilo, and above that weight a one handed shake becomes imprecise as well as tiring. The right gesture is two handed, one hand on the cap and one on the base, and it is also the safest: a shaker that opens halfway through empties the drink over the person making it and over the person watching.
Care
Hand wash the two pieces separately and dry them: treat the matt finish as a finish, so no abrasives and no dishwasher until the supplier states which treatment it is. The point to keep an eye on is the mating edge between body and cap: that is where the seal is made, and a dent takes it away.
