The Comfort folding bar counter in two lines
The Comfort is the middle folding bar station of the steel series: 120cm wide, a speed rail for 13 bottles, up to 9 tubs and 120 x 80 x 20cm folded. It is the width at which two bartenders work side by side without knocking into each other.
Who it is for
For caterers doing real numbers and for the cocktail bar that moves service into the garden or onto the terrace for the season. Thirty centimetres more than the small model sounds like little on paper and changes the job: it is the room to keep the garnish board down without moving it every time you reach for the shaker.
Why 120cm is the width for working in twos
A bartender takes around 60cm of counter to move their arms through a shake without hitting the person next to them. On 90cm one works and two serve in turns; on 120 two of you really do work, one shaking and one building in the glass, which is the division of labour that clears a peak. The Comfort is the first model of the series that carries that pattern, and that is why it is the one professionals buy most.

Nine tubs change the service more than three extra bottles
The step up from the small model is usually read on the bottles, thirteen instead of ten, but the difference you feel on the night is the tubs: from six to nine. Three more housings mean cubed and crushed ice kept apart, cut citrus divided by type and a fixed place for the fragile garnishes, which stop travelling from one end of the top to the other. Fast service is not made of fast gestures, it is made of things that are always in the same place.
Choose the Comfort if
You work in twos behind the same counter, the lists run past eight cocktails, or the service lasts all evening with no break to restock. If you are on your own and the list is short, the Smart model costs and weighs less; if you need running water and a built-in basin, the Professional is the only one in the series that has them as standard.
Transport: 50kg and 20cm thick
The weight is the line to read alongside the logistics of the site, not on its own. Fifty kilos load onto a van floor between two people without trouble; alone, up a ramp or a staircase, they do not. The retractable wheels made for the model solve moving it on the ground once it is unloaded, raising the top by barely 2cm, and they are the accessory anyone working alone buys first.
