The Granity Frost in two lines
The Granity Frost is a 400ml glass in white matte SAN polymer, unbreakable and resistant to knocks and high temperatures, sold in packs of 5. It is the largest size in the unbreakable line.
Who it is for
For venues that need capacity where glass cannot be used. 400ml is the size of a full long drink or a generous soft drink, and taking it away from the bar, to a terrace or a beach, needs a material that does not break. SAN covers that case while staying rigid and light.
What SAN is, and where it sits
It is a rigid polymer, harder than polypropylene and cheaper than polycarbonate. In the white matte finish of this model it does not compete with glass on looks, and does not try to: it relies on rigidity, which is what separates a service glass from one that bends in the hand. A soft cup says low quality even when it does not break, and in table service that shows more than you might think.

Choose the Granity Frost if
You need a large, unbreakable size and a matte look is not a problem. If the drink needs to be seen, the clear polycarbonate in the same category is the right choice.
A pack of five, which is unusual
Almost all glassware is sold in sixes, twelves or fours, and five is a number that surprises. For outdoor stock it matters little: these glasses are not bought to complete a table set, they are bought in quantity, and the number per pack counts less than the total. The useful question is not how many are in a box, but how many you need to cover the peak of a day outdoors without washing mid-service.
Why matte ages better
On a glass that is carried about, washed in a hurry and often used outdoors, marks come: scratches, smears, limescale. On a clear surface they all show and the glass looks old after a season; on a matte one almost nothing shows. That is why catering glassware is nearly always white or coloured, and it is not a style choice.
When rigidity matters
A glass that bends in the hand says low quality even when it does not break, and that is the flaw of cheap event cups. The Granity Frost is SAN, a rigid polymer: it holds like a real glass and does not give under the grip. Where the guest pays full price for a drink outdoors too, that rigidity is what keeps it from feeling like a plastic cup.
The more you buy, the less you pay: 4 packs -5%, 6 -7%, 8 -10%, on the same item.
Care
Dishwasher safe with a mild detergent and no abrasive sponges. If the machine has a gentle programme for plastics, use it. Stack when dry.
FAQ
Is the Granity Frost clear? No, it is white matte. For clarity you need polycarbonate.
How much does it hold? 400ml, the largest size in the unbreakable line.
Does it break? It is unbreakable in normal use: dropped, it does not shatter.
Why a pack of five? It is a size for outdoor stock, where the total quantity counts more than the number per box.
Is it dishwasher safe? Yes, best on a gentle programme.
Does it scratch? Less than clear polycarbonate, and scratches hardly show on a matte finish.
Is it stackable? Yes, like the whole unbreakable line.
Unbreakable materials are compared in the stackable glass guide.
