Which glasses it needs

Wide mouths, even more than for a single bubble. A cluster needs surface to rest on, so coupes and wide rocks glasses work, while on a tall, narrow glass the bubbles pile up and break each other before they reach the guest. It is the first thing to check, because it depends on the glassware, not on the gun.

How to use it

Fit it in place of the standard nozzle, dip it in the bubble solution and press the trigger with the gun close to the surface of the drink. The closer the nozzle, the tighter the cluster; lift it and the bubbles spread and some are lost. With the multi bubble nozzle the dipping rule matters even more: if the whole working surface is not wet, you get fewer bubbles than it could make.

When it is worth it and when not

It is worth it on long drinks, which are drunk over more time, and on cocktails served at a table where several people watch the effect. It is less worth it on a short, cold drink to be finished quickly, where the bubbles may still be there when the glass is half empty. It is a choice of pace before it is one of looks.

One aroma or several

All the bubbles come from the same tank, so they all carry the same scent: a cluster with different aromas would mean changing tank between bubbles.
