Flavour Blaster: the machine, the consumables and the spare parts, on one page
The Flavour Blaster does one thing: it fills a soap bubble with scented vapour and sets it on the glass. The bubble balances on the drink until the guest touches it; then it bursts and releases the aroma right under the nose. The taste of the cocktail stays the one you built, and the sense of smell gets an extra hit. That is why the bubble sells: it is a drink the next table sees, and orders.
Cocktail gun or mini kit
| Cocktail gun | Mini kit | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | The dearer of the two | The cheaper of the two |
| Who it is for | Continuous service at the bar | Home use, trials, mobile bartending |
| What it does | Bubble and aroma cloud, with a magnetic tank | Bubble and cloud, in a compact format |
| Spare parts | Tanks, cartridges, multi-bubble nozzle | The same consumables: aromas and Bubble X |
The cocktail gun is the bar machine, with a magnetic quick-release tank and a steady mist. The mini kit makes the same bubble for use at home, at an event or to try the technique before it goes on the menu. The consumables are the same.
The consumables: what a bubble costs
You need two things. The 180ml Bubble X liquid, which forms the skin of the bubble: one bottle makes a thousand bubbles. And the 10ml aroma, in twenty-three flavours from neutral to bergamot. The liquid cost per bubble is small: the real cost of the technique is the machine and the bartender's time, not what it uses. The flavours that sell most are citrus, berries, ginger and rosemary, which on their own account for six in ten aromas sold.
The three pieces that make the serve
The Flavour Blaster cocktail gun is the complete machine for service: magnetic quick-release tank, bubble and aroma cloud, and every spare part in the catalogue.
The Flavour Blaster mini kit makes the same bubble in a compact format: for beginners, for an off-site event or to try the technique before buying the cocktail gun.
Flavour Blaster 10ml aromas are the scent inside the bubble: twenty-three food-grade flavours, from neutral to bergamot, and the four that sell most are citrus, berries, ginger and rosemary.
Spare parts, and how often to change them
Replace the aroma tank about every four weeks, depending on use: it is the part that heats the liquid, and when it is spent the mist becomes irregular. The magnetic tank is the cocktail gun's quick-release, leak-proof tank. The vaporiser cartridges are the coils inside the tanks, in packs of five. The multi-bubble nozzle turns a single bubble into a cluster: the guest breaks them one at a time and the aroma comes out with each bubble.
Servicing and repair
A machine that sits on the bar every night will stop sooner or later. This page has the servicing option and the repair with parts replacement: the machine is sent in and comes back into service, instead of being bought again. That is why accessories and spare parts are on this page and not another: anyone who owns the machine should find everything that keeps it running in one place.
How to make the bubble, in four steps
Fill the tank with Bubble X and add the drops of aroma. Switch on and wait for the mist to run steady. Dip the nozzle in the liquid and blow the bubble over the glass, holding the machine still until the bubble settles. Serve straight away: the bubble lasts a few minutes, and it is made to be broken at the table.
Smoke without the bubble, with the smoking gun and the woods, is in the smoking category.

What is the difference between the cocktail gun and the mini kit?

What does a bubble cost?
The 180ml Bubble X liquid makes a thousand bubbles, so the liquid cost per bubble is small, plus the drops of aroma. The real cost is the machine and the time, not what it uses.
