Under the plating is stainless steel, so the strength is what it always was: the colour is an outer layer and does not change the weight or the balance of the pieces. Taking the kit rather than the single tools has a practical advantage, which is that the jigger, the strainer and the bar spoon carry the same finish: in photographs and on a bar in full view the difference shows.

Copper, gold or bronze
Only the plating changes, the contents are identical. Copper is the warmest tone and the most forgiving with wear; gold is the loudest; bronze sits in between and draws less attention under low light.
Care
No dishwasher: a commercial cycle dulls the plating in patches and the damage does not come back. Hand wash with mild soap, no abrasive sponges, dry straight away.
