Rigid plastic, not melamine
APS declares post-consumer recycled PET for the Friendly collection, recyclable at the end of its life. It is rigid and lighter than porcelain or thick melamine. With a full tray the wrist notices, and so does the floor: a dropped pot does not break into pieces. Someone picks it up and it goes through the wash again.
Two consequences for a venue. A tray that goes over does not block the way between tables for five minutes. And on replacement, small tableware is what vanishes first: the APS code stays in the catalogue unchanged, so the reorder is the same shape and the shelf does not fill with two mismatched sets.
Care
Dishwasher safe, as the manufacturer declares, in the same rack as the glasses. No microwave: APS excludes it, and the pot is not meant for heating. The pots stack, so after washing the six in a pack make a single pile on the back bar shelf, next to the coasters.

The dip pots are sold in packs of six, and the price is for the pack. A board with two sauces needs two pots: three packs cover nine boards on the floor at the same moment. A double set lets the dishwasher run without leaving the pass short.
