Gift card 250 euro: why the choice is personal
Because two hundred and fifty euro buys a tool bag, and a bag is the signature of whoever carries it. It holds twenty pieces, and anyone who has worked a few years has already chosen those twenty pieces one by one: giving them a bag someone else put together is giving them a container.
Who buys it
This is the size for the gifts given once: a graduation, the opening of a venue, the end of a training course. They are moments when the person receiving it is building their own kit, and the freedom to choose is worth as much as the amount.

How it arrives
Once payment is confirmed the card is generated and sent by email with its code. Print it and hand it over, or forward it to whoever it is for: there is nothing to wait for in the post.
How the credit is used
The code goes in at the time of the order and the credit comes off the total. It is not a discount: the money is already paid, so it counts across the whole catalogue, promotions included, and it covers delivery too.
- What you do not spend stays on the card. It gets used on another order, and another after that, while there is credit left.
- The credit does not expire. No date, no rush to spend it.
- More than one gift card can be used on the same order.
- If the credit covers everything, you choose Gift card at the checkout and there is nothing left to pay. If it covers part, the difference is paid with the usual checkout methods.
- It belongs to whoever holds the code: the person receiving it does not need an account to spend it.
Anyone who does have an account adds the code on the Gift card page of their profile, and from there sees what is left and where it has been used.
VAT
Two hundred and fifty euro paid is two hundred and fifty euro of credit. No VAT is applied to the card: it is paid on what you buy, as on any order. That is why the price on the page is exactly the value of the card.
