Gift card 25 euro: why it works here
Because bar equipment is technical, and anyone who does not work with it gets it wrong nearly every time. A jigger marked in millilitres for someone who counts in ounces, a 28oz Boston for someone with small hands, a 58mm tamper on a 53mm basket: gifts that look right and turn out unusable.
Who buys it
A bartender knows exactly what is missing, and what is missing changes month by month. Twenty-five euro of credit arrives when they need it, not when you had the idea: that is the difference between a tool that joins the kit and one that stays in the box.
It is also the size for gifts between colleagues. The end of a placement, a shift covered at the last minute, the birthday of the person working the bar with you: an amount that causes no awkwardness and that genuinely gets spent.
What 25 euro buys

How it arrives
Once payment is confirmed the card is generated and sent by email with its code. Print it and hand it over, or forward it to whoever it is for: there is nothing to wait for in the post.
How the credit is used
The code goes in at the time of the order and the credit comes off the total. It is not a discount: the money is already paid, so it counts across the whole catalogue, promotions included, and it covers delivery too.
- What you do not spend stays on the card. It gets used on another order, and another after that, while there is credit left.
- The credit does not expire. No date, no rush to spend it.
- More than one gift card can be used on the same order.
- If the credit covers everything, you choose Gift card at the checkout and there is nothing left to pay. If it covers part, the difference is paid with the usual checkout methods.
- It belongs to whoever holds the code: the person receiving it does not need an account to spend it.
Anyone who does have an account adds the code on the Gift card page of their profile, and from there sees what is left and where it has been used.
VAT
Twenty-five euro paid is twenty-five euro of credit. No VAT is applied to the card: it is paid on what you buy, as on any order. That is why the price on the page is exactly the value of the card.
