Behind the bar
Ceramic does two things glass does not. It holds the cold longer, because the wall is thick and does not exchange heat with the hand holding it. And it hides the contents, which in tiki service is part of the game: the guest finds the drink by drinking it, not by looking at it.
The 700ml bottle holds a preparation for two people, so it works as a vessel to carry and pour at the table. The 450ml mug is the right size for a tiki drink served on crushed ice, which takes up a good deal of the volume.

Care
Hand wash, always. The decoration is painted and a dishwasher wears it away, starting where the colour is heaviest. The mouth of the bottle is 2.5cm: cleaning the inside takes a bottle brush.
