Dear Customer,
Subject: Information on the processing of your personal data pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679, regarding the processing of personal data and their free circulation within the EU, and request for your consent to carry out certain treatments.
We inform you that in relation to your request to purchase professional equipment/products for bars, PROBAR SRL holds personal data related to you, acquired through the registration of your account or your purchase order on the website www.bar-equipment.com. EU Regulation 2016/679 requires that those who process personal data must inform the data subject about which data is being processed and certain elements qualifying the treatment: this must be done with correctness, lawfulness, and transparency, limiting explicit and legitimate purposes as well as storage, ensuring minimization, safeguarding accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of data, as well as the rights exercisable against the Data Controller. In particular, the lawfulness of the treatment in this Information occurs as it is necessary for the execution of a contract in which the data subject is a party or has given consent for one or more specific purposes (Art. 6-a). In accordance with Articles 13 and 14, we provide you with the following information.
Nature of processed data
The personal data subject to processing are exclusively common in nature since they consist essentially of data: personal, tax, administrative or contact details, however not belonging to special categories as defined by the Regulation; in particular, we do not have any of your health-related data (art. 4 paragraph-15). For certain treatments of some of this data, it is not required that you give consent to the processing since it is necessary to fulfill your order request.
For other specific treatments instead, it is required that you give your consent: if you intend to do so, please return this signed document to us, specifying your intentions for each of the purposes indicated in the appropriate section at the bottom of this document.
Purpose of processing and retention period
Your data is processed for e-commerce purposes related to processing orders for professional bar equipment/products ordered on our website www.bar-equipment.com; your data will be kept for the time necessary to process the order and also subsequently for legal obligations and administrative purposes. Only with explicit consent can your data be stored and processed later by PROBAR SRL to send communications (e.g., emails/newsletters) regarding new bar equipment/products marketed or to offer special deals and/or specific promotional campaigns.
Excluding tax/administrative data kept according to legal obligations (at least for 5 years), all your data within PROBAR SRL will be kept for a period suitable for the aforementioned purposes and in any case not exceeding 5 years.
Processing methods
The processing of your data within PROBAR SRL is carried out using tools and procedures suitable to ensure security and confidentiality and can be done using paper supports or through computer tools. However, PROBAR SRL implements necessary technical and organizational measures, physical and logical, to ensure an adequate level of security according to what is specified in the Regulation (art. 32).
Obligation or option to provide data
Regarding personal data that we need to know and process exclusively for executing your purchase order as well as fulfilling administrative-tax obligations required by laws, regulations, EU legislation or provisions issued by Authorities authorized by law and control bodies; your possible opposition to their processing effectively results in our inability to accept your purchase request. As for other personal data processed for non-mandatory purposes described above (for which we ask for your explicit consent), opposing their processing could partially hinder achieving additional objectives connected with the placed purchase order.
Scope of knowledge of your data
The following categories of individuals within our organization may become aware of your data as authorized persons for processing appointed by PROBAR SRL, Data Controller:
- Management figures
- Administrative and commercial staff;
- Secretarial staff.
Communication and disclosure
Your data may be disclosed by us within EU member states or European Economic Area:

To subjects who can access the data under provisions of law or regulations within limits set by such norms;

To our external consultants as External Managers (e.g., accounting firm) for administrative-accounting purposes within necessary limits;

To qualified shipping service companies who handle receipt, shipping, and delivery services of packages from PROBAR SRL addressed to you;

To qualified IT service companies who handle storage/archiving services of electronic archives from PROBAR SRL (e.g., cloud computing services) within EU space.
Your rights
With reference to Articles: 15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22 of the Regulation below are extracts of rights you can exercise against PROBAR SRL Data Controller:
- Obtain confirmation whether personal data concerning you are being processed along with categories thereof and access or obtain a copy of processed data;
- Obtain purposes of processing;
- Obtain information on origin of data if not collected directly from you;
- Obtain information on recipients whom personal data have been or will be communicated (especially if recipients are from third countries);
- Obtain information on retention period of personal data or criteria used to determine such period;
- Obtain rectification (to be communicated to all recipients whom personal data have been transmitted) or erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction or objection against processing concerning you;
- Right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting legality of processing;
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority;
- Obtain information on any automated decision-making processes including profiling and object against decisions based solely on such processes producing legal effects concerning you or similarly affecting you;
- Right to obtain portability of personal data concerning you provided previously to another Data Controller receiving them in a structured format commonly used readable by automatic device for transmission to another Data Controller (or obtain direct transmission between Controllers where technically feasible).
